Salesforce API Usage, Automation and Writes

These three admin pages help you monitor the Salesforce connection and control what syncs.

Salesforce API usage

Shows your Salesforce org limits with columns Limit, Used, Max, Remaining and Usage. By default it shows Tracked limits, the key Salesforce API limits Forge monitors. Switch to all limits with Show all, or use Filter to find one. A banner appears when limits are above 70% usage, and the page shows when the data was last fetched.

Salesforce Automation

Forge Apex is a single switch that controls all Forge-related Apex triggers, callouts and REST endpoints in your Salesforce org. These automated processes sync registration data, attendee updates and session changes between Salesforce and Forge in real time.

1. Open Salesforce Automation.
2. Toggle Forge Apex between Enabled and Disabled.
3. Confirm in the dialog.

If the control is unavailable, the page reports "Custom setting not deployed": the metadata package needs to be deployed to the Salesforce org first.

Salesforce writes

The write outbox syncs Forge's local projections after a Salesforce write has already succeeded; it does not perform the write itself. Drift detection compares those projections with live Salesforce data to catch sync issues.

• Summary cards show the Write outbox (queued / retrying, dead rows, oldest pending) and Drift state (tracked projections, drifted), plus drift repair activity for the last 24 hours.
• SLO thresholds have a Warning and a Critical value in minutes (1 to 1440; Critical must be at least Warning). Click Edit, then Save.
• The Write outbox table can be filtered by All, Queued, Retrying, Processing, Done or Dead. Retry re-runs a row and Kill marks it dead.
• Drift detection lists projections as Unknown, In sync or Drifted. Run drift check queues a check to populate the list.
