Portals

Portal Account Settings

Signed-in portal users manage their own account from Settings in the portal. The My Portal home shows a section for each role the person holds (Giving, Auctions, Events, Speaking or Sponsorship), and Settings is reached from the account and settings controls in the portal header and navigation.

The Settings page has four cards: Password, Email, Communications and Your data. If someone has a Sponsorship, Speaking, Giving or Auctions role, a Role settings section also links to the settings for that role. All of these pages require a signed-in portal session.

Password

Set or change your password here. Once a password is set, you can sign in with your email, password and org code instead of an emailed link. The sign-in page also has a Forgot your password? link that emails a reset link.

Email

Shows your current email and lets you enter a New email address. Select Send confirmation; a link is sent to the new address and the change is finished when you click it.

Communications

Communication Preferences has a separate group for each role you hold (Donor, Bidder, Sponsor, Speaker). Each group has Opt out of emails and Opt out of texts toggles. If no email is linked, the email option shows No linked email on file. Changes confirm with Preferences saved. If you hold none of these roles, the page says no communication preferences are available.

Your data

  • Download: gives you a copy of your data for a role. If you hold none of the Donor, Bidder, Sponsor or Speaker roles, the page says there is no data available to download.
  • Delete my portal access: revokes your portal sign-in after you confirm.

Deleting portal access only revokes your sign-in. Full data deletion requires contacting the organization.
